How is my billing information kept safe and secure?The majority of our bookings are made online, so we take security very, very seriously. Our booking page is protected by extended validation SSL. Our booking form has it’s own layer of 256 bit security. Credit card transactions are processed by Stripe, which has its own 256 security protocol. Additionally, our system does not store your credit card number, only a token that allows us to charge the card when the service is complete.

Smoking PolicyTo comply with Minnesota state regulations banning smoking in workplaces, we do not work in homes where smoking occurs indoors. Our teams may only smoke during unpaid breaks throughout the workday and ensure they do not smell like smoke while in your home. Please remember: Smoking inside the house while our workers are cleaning is not permitted. Thank you for helping us maintain a clean and healthy environment for everyone.

Miss and Mistake PolicyAs humans, our team may occasionally miss some cleaning tasks or make mistakes during your appointment. Mistakes are never intentional, and our teams strive for excellence. We value your feedback to help us improve. Reporting Misses: If something is missed, please call us or email. The team will use your input to improve and avoid future mistakes. High Volume of Misses: If many tasks are missed in one cleaning, we may offer a free make-up appointment. Jambo Cleaners management will ask for photos and a list of missed items within 36 hours of the appointment. We’ll assess the situation and schedule a make-up appointment at no extra cost to you. If a return visit isn’t necessary, we may add time to a future appointment. We also offer future cleaning credits and discounts if the misses caused inconvenience. Fair Evaluation: Jambo Cleaners management will consider all perspectives (the customer, the cleaners, the plan, etc.) when investigating misses and determining fair reimbursement. While we strive to meet customer expectations, we maintain that fairness is paramount in our evaluations.

Broken Items PolicyOur teams handle thousands of objects while cleaning and dusting every month, and sometimes customer items get broken. If there’s something in your home or space that absolutely cannot be broken due to its value (financial or sentimental), please let your cleaning team know as soon as they arrive. We prefer to skip these items entirely and will note them as “untouchable” in your customer file. Heirlooms, inheritances, priceless works of art, sentimental items, and expensive objects are some examples of things we’d rather avoid entirely. Important: Customers must always put a clear sign on places not to be touched and keep anything valuable in a safe place. For all other broken items, we can reimburse the cost in several ways: Direct replacement: This is the best option if you know the make/model of the item, and it (or an equivalent) can be readily found online or in-store. An equivalent amount of free cleaning: If we can accurately pinpoint the item’s value, we can provide free cleaning in that amount to compensate for the break. Direct reimbursement: We can monetarily compensate you for the value of broken items. In all cases, additional future discounts can be applied if any broken items cause extra inconvenience.

Summer Weather PoliciesWe care about our workers and believe that a comfortable working environment helps us provide the best services to you. A happy worker means a cleaner home! If you have air conditioning: Please make sure it is on for your cleaning team on your scheduled cleaning day. If you prefer to leave the AC off during the day, please leave a note for the team with instructions on how to use your system. If we don’t have a note, we may need to contact you during the day for information on how to use your system. Please note: If your home is above 80°F upon our arrival, there may not be enough time for the home to cool down sufficiently for our team to clean safely within the limited time available.

What's Move In/Out Clean?Our Move In/Move Out option delivers a thorough cleaning to prepare the home for you or the new family moving in! Please ensure that the home is empty prior to our service and that there are no other people (movers, tradespeople etc) working in the space. And we will need electricity and water! Please note, if the home is particularly dirty, we may need to add the First Time Deep Clean service to your cleaning in order to give our cleaners time to complete their work. Cancellation PolicyCancellations received by Jambo Cleaners one business day in advance will result in a 20% fee. Cancellations received by Jambo Cleaners “same-day” (including after business hours the business day prior to the scheduled appointment) will incur a 40% fee. If we can reschedule a cancellation within one week of the original appointment, we will reduce the fee to 15%. Business hours are defined as 8 am-5 pm. Leaving your home inaccessible can also result in a cancellation fee if it prevents the team from entering your home in a timely manner on cleaning day.

Do your crew members go through a criminal record check?Yes, they do. We require a criminal record check on all of our applicants as the last step in our pre-screening process.

What's Deep Cleaning?Deep Cleaning First-time clients who haven’t had their home cleaned professionally within the last month Must Book Deep Cleaning Services in order to give our crew members the time they need to achieve the high-quality results we’re known for. Once that’s complete, our Standard Clean is the perfect choice for weekly/biweekly/monthly services moving forward! Services Included: Cleaning inside and outside of cabinets and drawers Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all cabinet and drawer surfaces. Dusting and wiping all surfaces Removing dust and grime from furniture, shelves, and other surfaces. Vacuuming and mopping floors Ensuring all floor surfaces are clean and sanitized. Cleaning bathrooms Scrubbing sinks, toilets, showers, and tubs to ensure they are spotless. Kitchen cleaning Cleaning countertops, sinks, and the exterior of appliances like ovens and refrigerators. Window cleaning (interior) Cleaning the inside of all windows to ensure a clear, streak-free shine. Trash removal Removing all trash and ensuring the space is left clean and tidy. Detailed cleaning of baseboards and doorknobs Paying extra attention to areas that often accumulate dirt and grime. Our deep cleaning package gives our cleaners the time they need to deliver better and more detailed results, leaving your home spotless and comfortable. Can I trust my cleaning professional?All of our team members are interviewed by the owners and pass a criminal record check. We believe our team is our greatest asset, and therefore have very high standards. Only about 10% of those that apply end up working as an Jambo Cleaners

Security PoliciesOur cleaners do not open any closed doors, cabinets, or drawers in your home. They need express permission from you to open any closed-off area. For example, when taking your trash out and replacing the garbage bag, you need to give your team permission to open the cabinet where you keep the liner bags. The doors we open to access your home will be locked while the cleaning team is on-site and again upon exit. Windows we open will be closed and locked again upon exit. Alarms we disarm will be re-armed. Keys we extract from a lockbox will be placed back in the lockbox, and the lockbox will be left where it was found. Spare keys that come back to our office for us to store will be locked in our key safe until your next appointment. While cleaning, our teams will not answer the door for anyone except you. We won’t sign for packages, let your dog walker in, etc., unless we have written permission on file. We will not remove anything but dust, dirt, and grime from your home. Jambo Cleaners is bonded and insured against any issues that might arise while we are in your home.

Services We Do Not ProvideOur cleaners do their absolute best to provide exceptional service, but there are certain things that we cannot offer or guarantee. Liability, safety, and the highest quality are considered at all times. If you are unsure about your cleaning or an item below, please call us to discuss! Jambo Cleaners does not provide the following services: Performing services while other services (plumbing, painting, construction, etc.) are being done in or around the home. Lifting or moving heavy items (refrigerators, stoves, tables, etc.). Moving vases, hung pictures, or other delicate items. Loading your dishwasher but not replacing dishes in cupboards to avoid breakage. Cleaning any item or area that cannot be safely reached using telescopic cleaning tools and a step stool. Removing excessive pet hair from upholstery. Cleaning exterior windows. Cleaning mini blinds. We can dust horizontal metal or plastic mini blinds but avoid anything beyond dusting to prevent damage. Removing strong odors (mold, animal waste, smoke, etc.). We will do our best. Cleaning inside dishwashers and washing machines. Cleaning light bulbs. Cleaning rodent/insect-infested homes. Removing excess paint from surfaces. Post-construction cleaning. This service requires an in-person visit for a quote and is not part of our online booking system. Deep carpet/floor cleaning (steam cleaning, polishing, waxing, etc.). Removing heavy marks/stains on walls, baseboards, and other painted surfaces to avoid damaging your paint. At Jambo Cleaners, we offer straightforward rates designed to ensure excellent value for your home and business cleanliness. Here’s how it works:

Our service costs $59.99 per cleaning hour, plus applicable sales tax. Each cleaning hour corresponds to the effort of one cleaner for one hour.

To maximize efficiency and thoroughness, we assign teams of at least two cleaners for each job. However, there is a minimum engagement of 2 hours per visit, totaling $118.00 plus tax.

For example, with two cleaners, 2 hours of cleaning can be completed in just 1 hour of real-time, providing faster and more efficient service.

Please note that sales tax will be added to all services based on your address. Additionally, there may be extra charges for parking if your home or office is located in an area with paid parking.

Billing starts once our team enters your home and begins cleaning. This approach ensures our team is prepared without rushing, delivering thorough and efficient cleaning from the start. This policy may save you up to 30 minutes of billed time compared to our competitors, offering significant savings over time.

Jambo Cleaners proudly serves a wide range of homes and businesses across the entirety of Minnesota. While our dedicated teams primarily operate in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, we are committed to accommodating clients in other regions with advance notice. For those residing outside our typical service area, please provide at least 48 hours' notice for bookings. Larger bookings may require us to coordinate teams of cleaners to ensure we meet your needs effectively and efficiently.
We serve a 100-mile radius around Minneapolis and Saint Paul, encompassing the surrounding areas such as Saint Cloud, Rochester, Mankato, Duluth, St. Peter, Northfield, Faribault, Red Wing, Albert Lea, Eau Claire (WI), Willmar, Alexandria, Brainerd, Owatonna, and Hudson (WI).
